The Writer's Studio is built on a local-first philosophy. Your drafts, un-published manuscripts, and notes are primarily stored locally within your browser's secure sandbox. We only securely sync this data when explicitly required for publishing, cloud backup, or AI-assistant interactions.

2. AI Data Usage

When using the BookBuilder AI tools for structural or editorial feedback, snippets of your text are sent momentarily to our partner language models to generate feedback. We do not use your proprietary manuscripts to train our AI models. Your unpublished words remain strictly confidential.

3. Data We Collect

• Account Information: Necessary details to process your purchases and royalty payouts (such as email and basic profile data).
• Transaction Data: Handled securely via our third-party payment processors. We never store raw credit card numbers.
• Telemetry: Anonymous usage data that helps us improve the app experience, such as which tools are accessed most frequently.

We will never sell or rent your personal information to third parties. Data is only shared with indispensable vendors (like Stripe for payments) specifically for the functioning of this commercial platform.
